A chill in the air - but the sun says SPRING. So here's my little corner of the world for this month (so far):
Celebrate my Mom's birthday with a simple get-together with family
Continue the 16-week inner healing program of which I'm a part at my church. Many people ask whether I'm enjoying the process. That's probably not the adjective I'd choose. Yet I'd say I'm very glad that I'm taking it.
Visit Wolfe Island (off Kingston) for a few days to rest at my friend Julia's parents' farm.
Some more medical visits. This time to do with my gut health. Which interestingly enough also plays a part in mental health.
Continue with the leave of absence from work. Mixed emotions as I enter the second month of time away, but am glad for this clear timeline of taking care of myself to be in a better place for going back to serve my church community.
Coffee dates with friends. Because. Coffee. And Friends.
Reading. Lots of it. I still have 5-8 books on the go! It's a mix of fiction, self-help, and spiritual practices.
New sofa is coming this week! Cue happy dance! I've been holding off until my tax return to get one and the time has come.
Intentional movement (almost) every day. Right now that's been either walks or yoga. I'm enjoying going gentle on myself but still staying active.
